Today I spoke to two realtors about listing the rental apartments. While I'm extremely excited about getting tenants and level of completion that marks, I must admit I'm not looking forward to the tenant selection process. The main reason is what I see as one of the great real estate killers of all time: craigslist. I can't stand craiglist, especially for real estate listings. I know it's a necessary evil, but it seems to bring all the crazies out of the woodwork and I just hate dealing with crazies. At least it seems that the realtors will do a good deal of the screening, but still, I just hope for sane, respectful and responsible tenants. I think after all we went through with the squatters that we finally deserve it.
The good news is that the rental apartments are looking really sharp. The new windows are coming for the back of each apartment and tomorrow Tim is ordering the stainless steel for the kitchens and bathrooms, so that should change the look very soon. Meanwhile, both floors look fantastic and everything looks primed and almost ready to go.
The poly on the 3rd floor looks awesome
The bedroom door from BIG looks sharp! I wish I had a door like that when I lived there
Eric, sans drink but newly blonde again, models the Varde kitchen
Eric also makes an excellent appliance model. Even from all the way on the other side of the apartment.
On Deck—Tenants! Stair Cap Rails! Stair Wiring! Front Gate! Outdoor Railing! More Lighting! And tons of stainless steel!
